The Herald Bulletin, Anderson, Indiana

So...last night I went to see Sarah Palin! Earlier this week, a friend of my wife called to say that Sarah Palin would be making a live appearance at Talbot Street. Talbotstreet.com is a drag bar in Indianapolis. I've never been to a drag bar before but this was just the sort of motivation get me there.

We arrived shortly before the show started, found our seats and ordered a couple of $4 beers. My fingers dug into my wife's forearms as I watched Asia LaBush and Mercedes lip-synced their way to drag stardom while I worked my way through 3 more Amstel Lights.

This is a test blog. If I were giving a speech, I would step up to the mic, tap it, and say "Is this thing on?" My wife suggested that I post a recipe for pumpkin fudge that was in today's Indy Star. Here we go.

1/2 cup of canned pumpkin
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
5 oz. can of evaporated milk
7 oz. jar of marshmallow cream

Okay. I can't go on. My gag reflex has imposed it's will on my fingers.
