Main event will feature Frank Shamrock vs. Nick Diaz.

Shamrock, younger brother of MMA legend Ken Shamrock, is regarded as one of the all-time greats and the original model of the modern MMA competitor.

Diaz is a black-belt grappler that has been in the cage/ring against some of the best on the planet.

Both of these guys can talk people into a building. Mainly by running their mouths enough to make people want to buy a ticket to see them get their butts kicked.

The UFC will hold UFC 97: Redemption on Apirl 18 from the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec Canada.

The Main event is the middleweight title fight with Thales Leites challenging Anderson "The Spider" Silva.

To say Silva is on a hot streak would be understating things.

Silva has won eight in a row in the UFC, which ties the all-time record for consecutive wins inside the Octagon.

He's successfully defended his championship five times and a sixth title defense would set a record for title defenses in the UFC.

Pointe Blank: He's really good.

As in Pound-For-Pound best on the planet good.
