Plenty of action at ICC: Fight For Life

Cagesm.jpg

The Iron Cage Clash card "Fight For Life" had 18 fights on the card, plenty of back-and-forth action and no decisions.

While the nature of blogging doesn't allow me to go into too great amount of detail on the show, let me just say that it was one of the most action packed night of fights I've seen in a long time.

Now here's "Q's Top 5 Memorable Moments from Fight Night."

1. Daniel Trusty recovering from a vicious straight right that dropped him to sink in a fight-winning guillotine choke.

2. Lee Haskett's knockout win in a heavyweight clash with Steve Franklin.

3. Shelby Bleecher of Berne and Jamie Nussbaum of Kokomo in the first women's MMA fight I've had the opportunity to see live and in person. Bleecher won the bout by verbal submission at the end of the first round after a commanding the striking throughout the first round.

4. Jeremy Dushtea showing true class by putting Jake Lillard on his shoulders for a victory lap around the cage after Lillard beat Dushtea to win the ICC 145-pound title.

5. Seeing multiple fighters that claimed Anderson, Lapel, Elwood, Alexandria and Pendleton as hometowns.

That's enough for now. I'll have more to follow very soon.

Until Next Time
