Hey, ma, look! I'm blogging!

There are few things sadder than a guy my age awkwardly embracing a new technology, fumbling about, not knowing where to put his hands, saying the wrong things, burning alive in a blaze of self-loathing and misery ... uh, where was I?

Oh, yeah, embracing technology.

Of course, the irony of this whole thing is that I've been blogging on and off for more than 30 years. It's called a newspaper column. But I guess things change. Life changes. Daily, I'm told.

So every so often, I'll throw a saddle on this bad boy and ride into town, looking to pick a fight.

After all, it's called "Spare the Rod." (Get it? It's my name! I can do that. I'm a professional writer.)
