A short message of intent

Ever wonder what your governments do all day? Sure, you read about the political moves— which member of the party is appointed, a wrong decision made by an administrator, the mess of chaotic life in politics— but you rarely hear about the daily grind.
The politics is only a third of what elected officials do.
It is partially the newspaper's fault for leading people to believe nothing gets done. Why write about the speed limit change on a rural road if no one is against it? Who is going to pick up the paper for that?
That's where this blog comes in. I intend to post things that don't make it to the paper, but still affect people in the community.
Welcome to the world outside of politics.
