So, an appeals court threw out the FCC's half-million dollar fine against CBS for Janet Jackson's "wardrobe malfunction" during the Super Bowl halftime show in 2004.

It's about time.

For those who are squeamish about such occurrences, well, get over it. We're all human beings, and sex is a part of life. Deal.

There are actual predators out there taking advantage of children and women. There's actual slavery happening in this country. There is violence and hate becoming more and more pervasive.

Why don't we aim our efforts toward eradicating those instead of losing composure over a failed bit of "scandal" that lasted only a fraction of a second on camera?

Besides, catch late-night TV sometime. You can get your fill just watching the "Girls Gone Wild" commercials.

And speaking of taking advantage of women ...
