Board of Works, TuesdayAnderson Board of Public Works -The board approved an agreement with RxR Construction to widen lanes and add medians at the intersection of 53rd Street and Columbus Avenue. Michael Spyers, city engineer, said it was a high accident intersections. Construction should start next year. -Non-union workers for the utilities were approved for a 2 percent annual raise -Kevin Karr was approved for tuition reimbursement as he pursues an MBA at Anderson University. Karr is an engineer for Light and Power. He was involved with the Nestle project.
