I finally have figured out what the word "blog" means.

For years, I've been laboring under the delusion that it's a contraction of the words "Web" and "log."

Don't think so. Actually, as a crotchety old man forced and threatened to churn out material for this voracious new medium, I understand that "blog" is actually a mongrelization of another word.

It's used this way, appropriately ...

"And so, today, after I woke up, blog blog blog blog blog blog blog ..."
