Well, it only took a catastrophic financial crisis to get the politicians back on message. But they are. And now, instead of getting Obama and McCain blaming each other for all the normal problems we have, we get them blaming each other -- and each other's party -- for the catastrophic financial crisis.

Guys, stop it. Now. Don't blame. Don't point fingers. Nobody who is hurting gives a rat's overnight bag who is to blame. Just tell us how you're going to fix it. Give us details.

We know that's not how you guys work. You talk in fuzzy generalities during the election, and then do whatever you feel like doing when you get in office.

Don't think that's going to work this time. You're going to have lay down some particulars, construct a plan.

In other words, DO YOUR JOB.

It's the American way, right?
