Gimme a break Bush

Bailout...
Well, there’s a grand plan. Can you call it a plan if it’s this
confusing?

$700 billion: Not sure exactly how much money that is in real people dollars but I’m pretty sure it spends just about as quickly as the billions that Wall Street has already lost and who’s to say it won’t happen again.
My prediction for ten years from now... $1400 billion bailout.
Bottomless purse: Where the hell are we getting $700 billion? With the cost of the war and the regular expenses of running a damn country, I just assumed we didn’t have $700 billion laying around.
So, what’s being cut? Who’s losing out? Why has no one explained
this, and what’s more, why have neither of the presidential
candidates DEMANDED a line by line analysis of where this bailout
cash is coming from?
I hated watching the candidates during the debate as they danced
around the question of what would be cut by saying what would not
be cut.
It’s like asking a thief what they took from your house. Instead of answering, they tell you what they DIDN’T take from you.
That doesn’t help much.
Maybe the national media is to blame for this but I’m hearing a lot about bailouts and crisis, and nothing about prosecuting those responsible for doing this to us.
Those elected and foolishly respected officials in charge of the
American financial system should go down for this, we certainly are.
Just like everything else, this will have a ripple effect that will touch the lives of everyone in the world and when that time comes, I seriously doubt George W. and his bailout plan will be there to rescue you from YOUR debts.
